Our Supplier

Our SUPPLIER DFHB partnered with BOSSPIPE INTERNATIONAL are SPECIALISTS IN THE DESIGN AND MANUFACTURE OF Centrifugally Cast Glass Reinforced plastic JACKING PIPES.

DFHB – The Company

We are proud to announce the launch of the Zhejiang Eastern Haobo Pipes Co. Ltd., effective 10th March, 2015 which produces DFHB Centrifugally Cast
Glass Reinforced Plastic Pipe Systems.

Our company was previously known as Zhejiang Eastern Pipes Company Ltd. and manufactured this range of pipes under license from the inventor of this
process for the last 20 years from 1995 to 2015.

DFHB – Our Process

CENTRIFUGALLY CAST GLASS REINFORCED PLASTIC (CC GRP) is a composite material consisting of three components and can be classified as a thermosetting plastic.

Base materials for manufacture are unsaturated polyester resins as bonding agent, chopped glass fibers as reinforcement and quartz sand as
aggregate.

During the fully automated centrifugal casting process, components are fed into the mould using special programmes to electronically control the timing and
dosing of the materials to produce the desired wall structure. The pipe wall structure is built up from its exterior
surface. When all the materials have been positioned in the mould, the rotation speed is increased.

BOSSPIPE CCGRP PIPE

(Distributed as EMPIRE CCGRP PIPE to New Zealand)

CENTRIFUGALLY CAST GLASS REINFORCED PLASTIC (CCGRP) Gravity Pipes are commonly utilized in sewer, wastewater, drainage, storage systems, and various other applications.

GRP Sewer Pipes are highly resistant to corrosive substances and therefore ideal for piping sewer and wastewater. GRP Pipes are widely utilized for deep excavation sewer, above ground sewers as well as jacking and tunnelling.

Thanks to the material’s high corrosion resistance, GRP Sewer Pipe Systems easily withstand the low pH-value of biogenic sulfuric acid, which is commonly found in wastewater systems.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

  • Excellent chemical and corrosion resistance.
  • GRP Pipes have high stiffness (SN 10,000 or higher) and are a capable of resisting high static loads.
  • The smooth internal surface provides hydraulic efficiency and high abrasive resistance.
  • Resistant to UV light and can be installed above ground.
  • The pipe is light weight and the couplings can accommodate angular deflection.
  • Available in short lengths for ease of installation in deep sewer applications.

Summary

CENTRIFUGALLY CAST GLASS REINFORCED PLASTIC (CC GRP) Gravity Pipes are the product of choice for gravity sewer applications throughout the world.

Every major water authority in Australia has approved and accepted GRP Pipes and recognised the benefits for major sewer infrastructure and retic sewer projects.
The project at Mt Peter in Cairns for Cairns Regional Council is an ideal project for GRP Pipes. The use of GRP Pipes would provide a consistent pipe throughout the project as it is suitable for open cut excavation, tunnelling or jacking and above ground installation on bridge crossings. The pipe available in 3 metre lengths for easy installation with safety trenching shields and shoring.

The cost of installation and safety risk would be reduced and the long-term performance of the pipeline would be increased using GRP Pipes and fittings.
GRP Manholes would also offer an additional benefit and could be provided as an alternate to the concrete manholes. GRP Manholes have been accepted by major authorities in Australia and around the world for the same benefits as why GRP Pipes are preferred.
