Why ANCHORSTRONG™

Buoyancy solved by the pipe

No Buoyancy Management

ANCHORSTRONG™ eliminates buoyancy management without dewatering or ballasting, which removes two of the slowest activities from a high groundwater installation.

Mass and Corrosion Resistance

The pipe combines the mass and structural strength of reinforced concrete with the corrosion resistance and pressure capabilities of Glass Reinforced Plastic.

Program and Cost Advantage

On high groundwater projects, removing dewatering and ballasting delivers a significant programme and cost advantage.

The Product

ANCHORSTRONG™
non-buoyant composite pipe

ANCHORSTRONG™

ANCHORSTRONG™ is a non-buoyant composite pipe engineered for fast, cost-effective installation in water-charged ground. It combines the mass and structural strength of reinforced concrete with the corrosion resistance and pressure capabilities of Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP). ANCHORSTRONG™ eliminates buoyancy management without dewatering or ballasting, delivering a significant programme and cost advantage on high-groundwater projects.

Empire supplies ANCHORSTRONG™ across Australia and New Zealand, from DN900 through to DN3000, for gravity sewer and stormwater in water-charged ground.
