Continuous Filament Wound Glass Reinforced Pipe

Continuous Filament Wound Glass Reinforced Pipe

Our pipes are a corrosion-resistant pipe system that can be used in a wide range of applications for aboveground and underground installation projects. These pipes are durable and flexible thanks to the intelligent, layered way in which they are built – plus they’re a great choice for building projects in coastal areas.

Developed inhouse by our Australasain supplier, our pipes are manufactured from a thermosetting resin, polyester or vinylester. They are reinforced by fiberglass using a precise, continuous filament winding technique that is cost effective and efficent. The finished pipes are strong, flexible and have a resin-rich reinforced liner, structural wall and exterior layer making them an ideal product for your pipeline project.

Specialised Products for Large-Scale Projects

Our pipes and fittings are available from 80mm to 4,100mm in diameter, in pressures up to 25 bar. They are suitable for a range of complex construction projects including:

  • Water transmission & distribution lines
  • Sewerage networks
  • Irrigation networks
  • Drainage networks
  • Seawater intake line
  • Seawater outfall lines
  • Seawater discharge lines
  • Seawater cooling systems
  • District cooling and heating networks
  • Chemical pipe systems
  • Chlorination pipe systems
  • Jacking pipe systems
  • Structural manholes
  • Structural manholes and manhole liners

Product Advantages

Composite technology has evolved significantly to produce an advanced material, which offers a superior alternative to traditional piping materials.

Composite Pipe systems continue to be the natural choice for both new and replacement installations, repeatedly proving its benefits to End Users around the world.

Durable and Lightweight

Offers a high strength-to-weight ratio meaning lower transportation and installation costs compared to materials such as steel or concrete.

Cost Effective and Efficient

Provides a better hydraulic performance than steel, ductile iron and concrete, significantly reducing operating costs. Composite pipes are cost effective.

Longer Life Cycle

Increased durability extends the system life cycle significantly beyond what is offered by other alternative materials. Composites can last over 50 years making our pipes economical.

Versatile and Accommodating

Accommodates a variety of assembly options and complex configurations due to its versatility, capacity to withstand high pressures, temperatures and loads as well as intense chemical resistance parameters.

Environmentally Friendly and Sustainable

Low energy is required for the production of composite pipes. Composite pipes have a smooth interior surface, needing less energy for the fluids to circulate.

Anti-Corrosive and Resistant

Composites offer excellent resistance against corrosive environments including soils, saltwater, H2S and chemical applications. Composite pipes last longer.

Centrifugally Cast Glass Reinforced Pipe – available in open cut or jacking pipe.
