BATHURST STORMWATER HARVESTING
CLIENT: Bathurst Regional Council – LOCATION: Bathurst NSW AUSTRALIA
Empire Infrastructure successfully demonstrated its position as a leading supplier for complex infrastructure projects working with Iplex Pipelines to supply a stormwater retention project in Bathurst.
Empire Infrastructure supplied 4.6km of FPI’s DN450 OD507 SN10000 GRP Fiberstrong™ pipe. The project required a sustainable system for a stormwater retention project in Bathurst, New South Wales, about 200km west-northwest of Sydney. The use of this particular pipeline is to retain stormwater through high rainfall events.
Empire Manager of Sales and Operations Aaron Mackley said it was a milestone project for the company.
“This was our first major Future Pipe project since establishing the partnership with Empire Infrastructure”.
“It’s a unique one for us, as it’s the first time we’ve supplied this type of pipe into a stormwater retention system
“Typically for those type of projects, the spec would call for concrete storage tanks or plastic storage tanks or crate systems. It’s a bit unconventional to use pipe, but it was the most suitable product for this particular project.”
The technical team at Empire Infrastructure have over 35 years of experience supplying pipe for complex infrastructure projects in Australia and NZ and are always available to answer your questions about jacking
